The Power of The Prophetic

Twenty-five years ago, the Lord called me into His glorious Kingdom. Like me, you probably heard all the religious rhetoric growing up and did not find pursuing GOD attractive or unique.  My sibling and I were taught about the Lord Jesus Christ growing up. My parents said that “Jesus is Lord,” and He is the Master and the one to go to when you need help. 

So I talked to God; I was a troubled girl who felt unwanted and rejected from childhood.  It did seem like I did not have anything my family needed, so I was angry and acted out.  But there is one unique thing about me: I had an ability, a gift my family could not define.  I would know things about adults and people. I felt like I was someone important, but I did not know what! 

I remember talking to GOD and asking Him to help me. The fact that I had a gift was very apparent, and my older sister used it in a way that did not bring GOD glory; we did not know any better. My parents did not attend church, so we had no formal teaching.  As a result, I fell into traps sent by the enemy, but GOD always watched over me.  He ensured that I was protected from things that could have destroyed me.  He is fantastic that way!  

1996, My Life Took A Turn

In 1990, I received my salvation in a small church in Coatesville, PA; that was the beginning of my new life and happiness.  My gift and ability remerged 1996 much more robust than when I was young, and now I was in Christ.  I was living in New York City again after a bad breakup.  GOD visited me during a time of profound sadness and brokenness.  He showed me who I was!  He started talking to me then and told me to get a TV show.  He also told me He wanted me to be a minister, so I replied, “Sure, GOD,” thinking this would be easy and I would not have to do much.

Little did I know what was coming next. 

The power of the prophetic was life-changing and altering.  During this time, I found out who I was, a prophet. Although I did not know what that office entailed for the most part, I knew it was powerful and heavy!  Initially, through my TV show that I had for four years in NYC, GOD brought three women into my life.  They started out as clients who came to me for help.  They learned about my gift, which was part of my TV show. I had a lot of viewers and people calling from everywhere.  These women became part of the prophetic ministry and discovered who they were.  Today, they are life changers and have become mighty women of GOD over the last twenty-five years.

In 1997, GOD sent a woman named Bruni to visit me; the moment she walked into the door, I saw a tumor inside her abdomen the size of a man’s fist.  So before she could say a word, I stopped what I was doing and told her, “Before you say anything, do you know there is a tumor the size of a man’s fist inside your belly?”.  She smiled and said, “Yes, that is why I am here”.  She was scheduled for surgery in a week and did not want to undergo another surgery for a tumor that kept returning.  She pulled up her blouse to show me all the cuts from previous surgeries.  I told her to walk up to my desk and that I would lay hands on her belly.  I prayed the prayer of faith over her abdomen; after I finished praying, I asked her if she felt anything when I was praying, and she said, “Intense heat.”  Before I started praying for her, I asked if she could promise the LORD that when He heals her, she would tell everyone who would listen to what GOD did for her.  She said” “yes”.  After I finished praying, I told her that GOD healed her and to live her life for Him and not sin anymore.  She smiled and left. 

 A week later, during her presurgery visit, they gave her one final CT Scan to see if there were any significant changes in the tumor.  That is when the doctors discovered that God had removed the tumor. They asked her what did she do? She told them.  The doctor and her priest expressed an interest in meeting me. I declined because I wanted GOD to get all the glory.   There are many more stories of how God used me to heal His people. GOD changed my life, and now we travel on assignment teaching and training prophets and prophetic people.  The power of the prophetic liberated me and helped me discover who I am: a prophet of the Most High God.
